Mysore pak recipe is the dessert from the royal kitchen before going on to the recipe let us see some history .The recipe was introduced by royal kitchen chef kakasura madappa when he was asked by the king to prepare a unique and different dessert. Basically he prepared by fabrication of gram flour, sugar syrup and ghee and oil mixture. when presented to the this recipe to king, he liked it so much and he named it as mysore pak. pak or literally meaning ‘paka’ in kannada meaning to sweet syrup. Even today this recipe is prepared with the same technique and procedure in the royal kitchen of mysore.Now let us how to make this recipe in Instant pot.

Sugar syrup hack – inspired from opos
Instant pot Mysore Pak
- 1 cup Besan Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- 4 tsp oil
- 1/4+1/3 cup ghee
In a pan add 1/4+1/3 cup of ghee and after 2 minutes add the besan flour and roast in low flame until the mix turns golden color or until the raw smell goes off.
In IP add 1 cup sugar , 1/4 cup water, 4 tsp oil.Mix it together well and close the lid . Manual 4 mins, High Pressure . Quick Release.
Once opened, add the besan flour and mix it .
Transfer it to the greased pan immediately.
Wait for it to cool down completely ,slice it and enjoy.
