Today i am making it a bit of south indian version.The ingredients are mustard seeds,urad dal,ginger,onion,some vegetables,broken wheat.You can add or skip any ingredients in this of your choice.All you need is 4 minutes to make this Bulgur pilaf|Cracked wheat upma|Dalia khichdi|Wheat dalia upma in Instant pot and it turns out perfect everytime without any burnt bottom or warnings.

First turn on the instantpot ‘saute’ mode add oil,mustard seeds(Always wait for the mustard seed to crackle),add urad dal,hing,curry leaves ,ginger,green chilli and onion.Saute for a minute.Add carrot and peas,water,salt,cracked wheat.Mix it well without lumps.Turn off ‘saute’ mode and turn on manual/pressure cook mode for 4 minutes ,Vent – sealing mode and do a Quick Release if the knob goes up.

- 1 tbsp oil (Sesame oil)
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1/4 tsp hing
- 1 string curry leaves
- 1/4 cup onion
- 1 number carrot
- 1 fistful green peas
- salt to taste
- 1.5 cup water
- 1 cup cracked wheat
- 1/2 inch piece ginger
- 1 number green chilli
Turn on the instantpot 'saute' mode add oil,mustard seeds(Always wait for the mustard seed to crackle),add urad dal,hing,curry leaves ,ginger,green chilli and onion.Saute for a minute.
